Bulletrider Leaving the cheesiness of swashbuckling pirates aside and combining it with some of classic dungeonsynth characteristics, this album drags you out onto vast oceans filled with danger and mystery. Oh, and D&D inspired music is nearly always a big plus for me... Favorite track: Captain Gavriel Walda.

Kaptain Carbon Lux Viridis is the name of a project as well as a campaign setting for Dungeon and Dragons. No this was never published in any book but rather exists in the mind of its Ukrainian creator. March of Thieves is the third adventure set in this world and by the sound of it, takes place in the mysterious ports of a pirate infested town. Lux Viridis is nothing but fun and the boisterous sounds of this record are records of grand adventures in the mind of a creative individual. Favorite track: Captain Gavriel Walda.

G-Prime I had no idea that Pirate Synth was a genre I enjoyed this much, or existed for that matter. With March of Thieves Lux Viridis delivers an evocative album that speaks of high adventure, an Epic story in the classical meaning of the word. It maintains a consistent yet variegated theme throughout and continues to display his ability to say a lot with relatively few notes. Favorite track: Chest of Beholder.

Yawning Druid Doubtlessly my favorite effort from Lux Viridis thus far. Definitely a digression from the previous works, but in an exciting way that really captures the essence that LV was trying to capture. Favorite track: Windhammer.
